Zin never enrolled in formal video production classes, but he possessed natural skills, a desire to self-educate and an affinity for film direction and esthetics. He always felt it was important for his music projects to have visual elements and he had a good eye for video and photo composition (Most of the photos used for the The1LikeZin Memorial Project were taken by Zin).
In some instances, Zin worked with local Houston filmmakers to create videos. Other times, he directed his own videos. He never let lack of knowledge deter him from developing a dynamic project. If he was unsure about a particular component of film production, he used the best resources available…his brain, trial and error, Google and YouTube.
